Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character produced by Max Fleischer and released by Paramount Pictures. He was the first cartoon character of 1920s modern girl. Betty Boop first appeared on August 9, 1930 in the cartoon Dizzy Dishes entitled. Grim Natwick, a senior animator who worked for Walt Disney studios had a big hand in creating the character of Betty a model taken from Helen Kane, a singer and performer who contracted Paramount Pictures, the studio also distributes Fleischer cartoons. Betty has appeared in ten cartoons as a supporting character and played a modern girls have more feelings than the brain. In individual cartoons she was called Nancy Lee and Nan McGrew. The new character was officially called Betty Boop in 1932 while appearing in Stopping the Show which is also the first cartoon series from the Betty Boop.
